The popular PC Battle Royale title is coming very soon to Mobile devices.

Last night Electronic Arts(EA in short) took the entire gaming community around the world by storm, with the announcement of Apex Legends Mobile, which brings its popular Battle Royale title to the mobile devices. The company will start its closed beta test anytime soon in India and Philippines.

The game would be a standalone new title as confirmed by the official site and will not support any cross play support. This news followed by the opening of the pre-registrations on Google Play store have created a buzz around the entire internet along with many speculations of what will the game offer. Here is a list of all the things which we can expect from this title.

  1. First and Third person perspective.

One of the big features and interesting highlights of the mobile version of the game is that there are both First Person and Third Person perspectives. It might not be a new thing for those who haven’t played or even experienced the game before as it is a common feature in majority of the Battle Royale games out there. However, the people who have played the console and the pc version is a way different as they were exclusively FPS. The main reason probably for this move is that mobile gaming audience finds it more convincing for them to play in third person shooter (thanks to PUBG mobile).

An example of how will the game look in third person perspective.

2. No cross play with pc and console players.

When rumors about this game had started coming one of the biggest speculations which were being made by the people was that there would be a cross play feature allowing mobile players to play with those playing on PC and console. This would have been unfortunate as it would have created an another Fortnite for mobile which is not even compatible for most of the devices due to its huge size and the cross play feature. This step by EA is a sign of relief for the gaming fans out there especially who have budget and mid-range smartphones.

3. Free to play game, with in app purchases for the cosmetics and battle pass.

EA has “very good reputation” in terms of its policies regarding the in game purchases. However, Apex Mobile as confirmed by the official post by EA would not feature any pay to win characters and gun skins. (Sympathies for those who bought Caustic and Mirage on PC and Console versions) The game will have an In app purchases system for buying gun and character skins as well. There will also be a separate battle pass for the audiences as well.

4. Optimizations for the low end devices.

The company on its official post claimed that the game as “thoughtfully optimized”. EA has been in the mobile market for quite sometime and has pulled of running AAA graphic games on low end devices. Popular examples FIFA mobile, Need for Speed etc. So we can expect great graphics with little number of bugs as well. However, some users are facing issues like the device being Incompatible which needs to be resolved.

So this is all of the information which we have about apex mobile right now. We might see more things in the future as well.
